The Wizard Today
The Wizard Today is the only comic on Little Bird Comics and made by Ryland Plassmann, it takes place in Tucson, Arizona. The main characters are Merlin (the wizard) and Archimedes (the owl), but has many other characters.
The characters are:
(Merlin) Barkwood
Merlin is a wizard as you can see. He is around in his late 60s, but doesn't use magic that often. He is pretty much the main character along with his long time friend Archimedes. Bell, Archimedes, and Max all live with him.
Archimedes.
Archimedes is Merlin's long time friend and enchantment partner. He has his own owl house in a small wooded area in Tucson and with his companion Merlin.
Bell Barkwood
Bell is a Pagan and Merlin's niece and LOVES Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and many other movies like Big Hero 6, and computer games like Minecraft. Her parents died in a car accident (the cause is texting) and now lives with Merlin. She is 13 years old.
Max.
Max is a robot with a monitor on top of the two-shelved table (that have no walls) with wheels, all the computer equipment is on the two shelves. He came to Merlin's house in a printer box being mailed and claims to be made from a wacko and did not like living with him, he escaped into a printer box that got mailed to Merlin's house. He now lives with Merlin to keep company.
Sarah Silverstar
Sarah is Merlin's neighbor and owner of a coffee shop in the Downtown District who is around her late 20s, she is not married (never will) and is a good friend to Merlin, Archimedes, Bell, etc.
ATTENTION: I'm the original admin of this blog, let me explain. It was around 2017 that I stopped editing my blog, apparently that means I hadn't done anything to this blog for more than two years. It's 2020 now and I decided to ghost this blog entirely so I tried to get back on to make a post explaining that I'm leaving and than...I couldn't. Apparently when you're gone for two years Blogger thinks you are dead and throws the account in the can. All my comments are now marked "unknown".
ReplyDeleteI'm sure this smerf account I'm using would be make unknown in a few years as well. So why did I ghosted this blog? The answer is I moved on to other things. The "Wizard Today" is most definitely over. Well not quite, the characters are still around in my head as a new setting and story is forming. Some will be back others won't. The comics you can say are like the beta version, what I'm planing now is a webcomic. I would be big, in need of a lot of planing, it could end up being my legacy, and it may come out in like ten years . . . . . . . . . . . hey, I'm a person who likes to take their time.
So what's next? To be frank I don't really know. The "webcomic" it self doesn't have a real name, right now it's "I Stand Near Bandelier" and where will it go? Hiveworks? Webtoons? Tapas? Go independent? Who knows!

One day though this blog would disappear witch is fine by me, I'm taking things one step at a time.
